Illustrations for Stories

In this workshop writers and artists will learn how art can inform story or how story can inform art and then craft their own illustration and accompanying story, or combine the two and create a mini comic or graphic novel!
September 10th
Screenwriting
at BookBar, 4280 Tennyson St, Denver, 80212
10 am – 1 pm
In this workshop writers will learn the fundamentals of screenwriting; from industry standard formatting to story structure. They will brainstorm ideas and get started writing the first scene of a script
October 8th
14th Annual Scary Stories at The Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls, and Toys

2 pm – 6 pm
Denver Writes returns to the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls, and Toys for our most popular workshop, writes will learn the art of crating terrifying tales then record their stories to share later.
