Young Writers Contest for the 2nd Annual Story Books on Stage Show
WHO: Calling all 1st-3rd grade writers!
WHAT: Stories on Stage is seeking stories written by 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade authors to be read alongside published works! Winning stories will be read by professional actors and winning authors will receive two complimentary tickets to the show, meet the actors and have conversations with local picture book authors!
WHEN: The contest entry deadline has been extended to March 16, 2015
The performance of the winning stories will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10:30a.m.
WHERE: The second annual Story Books on Stage performance will be held at the
Denver School of the Arts, 7111 Montview Blvd., Denver, CO 80220
HOW TO ENTER THE CONTEST:
- Only one entry per person
- Each entry can be no more than 250 words, typed or neatly written
- Your story must be fictional and include these two elements:
– a surprise
– an unusual character - All entries must be attached to a completed contest entry form found here:
